Here we have a lot of eight very-vintage bread or small dessert plates in the Blue Fancy pattern from the Franciscan Whitestone Ware line. Features a Swedish-inspired hearts and scrolls print in traditional blue and white. Suitable for appetizers, bread and butter or desserts. We have other pieces from this pattern in our store, to which we add new inventory daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost.

Vintage: this pattern was in production from 1963 to 1972

Maker/marks: Franciscan/see photos for marks

Approximate measurements: 6 1/8" diameter; please also see photos with rulers

Condition report: Our photographs reveal the condition best -- please enlarge and zoom in on them, and examine them carefully. We often add graphics such as arrows, circles, and text boxes to our photos to point out things of interest that might be hard to see, such as a price tag or maker's mark, as well as to highlight many condition flaws. We've included a photo of the top of each actual plate in the lot. Very clean and fresh pieces, with no chips or cracks, and no stains, silver/gray utensil marks or any other types of marks. All have scattered, completely colorless, light scratches to the glaze -- the kind that are visible only when you hold the piece up at just the right angle to direct, bright light.

We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.

  • If you're unable to pay within terms, please reach out with your Plan B. Things happen. Especially these days. So just shoot us a message.
  • We don't accept buyer-remorse returns but we will grant you the use of our description and photos so that you can re-ebay the item yourself.
  • Although we don't accept buyer-remorse returns, reach out if you're unhappy with your purchase! If we messed up -- everybody does -- give us a chance to fix it. We promise it was unintentional, and we'll do what we can to make it right.
