Lego Dimensions - 2014 Prototypes and Test Figure Models for Warner Brothers Studios.

This is a collection of 2014 Lego Dimensions prototype figures and glued models which were owned by Warner Brothers and do not contain the metal chips in the bases for the game as this was still in it's final phase of development and these prototypes were for the decision making folks at Warner Bros to look over. Warner Brothers published Lego Dimensions. Some of these like the Dr Who and Wizard of OZ characters have unpainted heads and are mockups presented to the important folks at Warner Bros for approval. (See photos)

These prototype/examples were sent to Warner Bros Studios to be approved by Lego before the release of the line in 2015-2018. Some of the prototypes are dated from 2016 as they were also sent over whenever new ones were being made before being put into production and released.

Many of the models have stickers underneath with the word 'Glued' and dates, lego set number and in some cases a surname or name on them by the lego staff from when they were completed and sent to Warner Bros Studios for approval.

Once approved these models were then kept in the Warner Brothers warehouse until during lockdown when the warehouse was cleared and were finally sold to a vintage toy shop two years after the Lego Dimensions line had been cancelled which is where they were purchased by myself.

They were brought into the toy store during Lockdown in August 2020 and sold by someone who does all the clearance sales for Warner Brothers Studios Warehouses, they were sold to the toy store as no longer needed by WB.

The owner of the toy shop then verified the authenticity by getting in contact with someone at Lego and who also worked on the Lego Dimensions series in 2014 and the staff member at Lego confirmed that they were in fact real prototypes and that the small plastic bags they were sold in were in fact the ones used to send them to Warner Bros and that the labels on the prototypes were in his own handwriting and others and the names on the labels underneath were all correct.

The owner of the very reputable toy shop kept the 'Back to the Future' prototypes for his own personal collection and I purchased the remaining lot that were left. I will happily give you the details of the shop owner for further authenticity.

Sold as a collection lot so I will not separate them. Any Questions or for more photos, please get in touch. Will package securely and send securely. I am open to sensible offers and happy to answer any questions.
