Davidson's The Good Companion Table Lamp base in pink frosted glass.

The chrome is in good condition with some signs of use.

 

Sadly, the original pink glass shade was broken.  We could never find a replacement.

The Tiffany style shade is the best size, shape, and colour match we could find.

The Tiffany style shade has all the glass firmly in place, but two panels do show the usual hairline cracks.

Photos 2 and 3 show an original blue lamp, to compare the shapes of the shades.

Ironically, I actually prefer the diffused light of the Tiffany shade.  The original Davidson has some glare.

Photo 5 shows the lamp with a pink coloured bulb fitted.

The lamp was professionally rewired in three-core, cloth-covered, flex to match the lamp.

The lamp is now earthed, and has an in-line switch in the flex.

The flex is 2.6 metres long.  It can easily be shortened.

The lamp stands 14 inches tall, and the shade is 10 inches in diameter.

(The original shade was 9 inches in diameter).

The power consumption depends on which bulb you install.

It will be sent without a bulb fitted.  I have been using low wattage LED bulbs with this lamp.

The blue Davidson lamp has been sold.  But it shows how the original shade would look.

I usually have sent stuff with Royal Mail 48 tracked, but depending on the time of the sale,

I will take Ebay's advice on which tracked-carrier to use.
