The Excalibur Silver Edition is a premium high-speed cable with improved data and power transmission that complements the existing series of USB cables. The data pair and the power pair are each optimized for their own purposes, data transfer and power. The twisted data pair is made of silver-plated oxygen-free copper wires with polyethylene insulation. The silver layer is very thick, 3.8% of the total wire thickness, which provides better conductivity and high speed factor. Silver is great for high frequencies and high speed data transfer.

The design of the power wires is completely different from the data pair. To avoid power loss and maximize wire area, Supra Cables engineers used 4 tinned wires in a star configuration. The star-square design and separate shield greatly reduce any radio interference.

The USB Excalibur uses new collapsible USB connectors. They are completely shielded in aluminium. The connectors are removable, which allows you to lay the cable in 16 mm channels, including the contact group. Now there is no need to solder them and reassemble them on site by resoldering, so nothing stands in the way of maintaining the highest characteristics of the cable.
