This poppy is a semi-double mix of shades of apricot, orange, pink, red, white and yellow.  Mission Bells are a tender perennial 8-10 and grown as an annual in colder climates.

California Poppies are easy to grow and grow best when sown directly in the garden. Poppy seeds require a cool period of 2-4 weeks to break dormancy.  Some gardeners choose to cold stratify their seeds in the refrigerator for 14 days. Sown in full sun at a depth of 1/16 inch.

How To Cold Stratify Poppy Seeds:
Place a small amount of dirt or potting soil in a plastic bag.
Slightly dampen the dirt with water.
Add Poppy Seeds into the bag.
Mix the Poppy Seeds into the dirt.
Seal the bag, and place in the refrigerator for 14 days.
Remove after 14 days, and leave out on a paper towel to dry at room temperature area for 7 days.
