This is the D2002 model dynamic hyper cardioid

 microphone with outstanding sound characteristics

and used primarily for vocals and singing.

 The AKG mics were almost always very high quality

and known for their durability and superb sound.

The D2002 and it's hyper cardioid so it blocks out

 any background noise picking up only what's right in

 front of it. An exceptional mic that's lite weight and

very rugged. It has a very modern design as well and

set at low impedance (500 OHMS) giving a full rich,

warm tone with plenty of bass. If I had to compare

 this mic to another I would say it's almost identical

to the Shure SM-58 model and you'd be hard pressed
