This uncirculated 20 Sri Lankan rupee note is a standard circulation note that is dated 15 September 2021. It is a red and orange note that measures 128 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows the Baronet butterfly (Sympaedra nais), a depiction of the modern Port of Colombo, a depiction of the old Port of Colombo, a Sri Lankan Serendib Scops Owl (Ofus thilohoffmanni), and a lion holding a whip and a sword. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and shows a Geta Bera drummer and Ves Netuma dancer, a stylized liya vela floral motif, and a guard stone (muragala) with a pot of plenty (punkasala). Security features include a solid security thread with printed CBSL RS 20 and a watermark of an owl with an electrotype 20 and Cornerstones.
