VINTAGE SWIFT ELEVEN NINETY (1190) SERIES MICROSCOPE. Metal brand plate is in excellent cosmetic condition! Firmly attached and has all its paint - no blemishes or damage. Taupe/brown paint with black stage surface and silvertone metal accents. Serial no. 627903. Made in Japan - marked on base.

Inclined monocular style, with 360° fully rotatable head, and widefield 10X eyepiece.  Triple nosepiece with 5X/10X/40X optics mounted. Illuminated by incandescent bulb with push button switch - LIGHT IS TESTED AND WORKING. Height adjustable stage with 2 stage clips. Coaxial coarse and fine adjustment focusing knobs. Substage disc diaphragm with 5 brightness settings. Grounded plug and cord in great condition. No visible damage to coating. Height is 14". Base is roughly 8" by 4". Weight is 9 lbs 2 oz. Cord is approximately 66" long.

Overall condition is very good for its age. No visible dents, rust, etc. No missing screws. A few small scuffs/marks. Needs a thorough cleaning and lubrication of moving parts if intended for regular use rather than display purposes. Head, nosepiece and diaphragm move freely. Stage adjustment knobs move smoothly but require a bit more force. Instructions to change bulb are printed on a sticker on the bottom of the base.
