NOTE THAT THIS PIECE WAS PICTURED OVER AN ALTERNATE SKIRT THAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE. IT CAN BE WORN BY ITSELF OR COULD BE PAIRED WITH ANOTHER SKIRT BUT THE PINK SKIRT IN THE PHOTO IS NOT INCLUDED, THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE JACKET ONLY.
WOOD BUTTONS COVERED IN SELF SILK CLOSE THE FRONT FROM NECKLINE TO BOTTOM WITH THE BOTTOM SKIRTING IN WONDERFUL RUCHED RUFFLES.
MATCHING RUFFLES ARE ON THE BOTTOM OF EACH SLEEVE WITH INNER SLEEVE IN A MACHINE MADE OFF WHITE FLORAL LACE. ARM SEAMS ARE PIPED.
THE SIDE SKIRTING IS COMPLETELY SLIT IN THE REAR WITH LAYERED PLEATING GATHERING THE BACK SKIRTING UP WITH DRAWSTRING TIES GIVING BEAUTIFUL POLONAISE DETAILING WITH THE BUSTLE OVER SKIRT EDGED IN MATCHING RUFFLING ON EACH SIDE FALLING FULLY OVER.
THE INTERIOR TOP IS LINED IN A POLISHED COTTON AND IS FULLY BONED WIHT A SLIGHT PADDING AROUND BUST AND SIDE ARM HOLES.
CONDITION: THE TOP BUTTON IS ABSENT. THE REAR BUSTLE SKIRTING HAS TRIM THAT IS ABSENT AND I SUSPECT IT WAS TRIMMED IN RUFFLES. UNDERARMS HAVE DISCOLORATION WITH SOME DARK STAINING SEEN UNDER EACH. THE SIDE WAIST SEAM HAS COME FREE AND NEEDS TO BE RESTITCHED APPROXIMATLEY FIVE INCHES. THERE IS A ONE INCH SEAM ON THE BACK THAT IS IN NEED OF A STITCH CLOSED.
