With its original, hinged sterling silver hinged lid, this Bristol Blue crystal, faceted scent bottle is a stunner.

There are no chips, cracks or scratches on the crystal, and the silver, heavily embossed top retains its perfect, unblemished, un-dinged shape. Although I cannot find the silver marks, it has tested silver, and actually, these scents with silver tops often lack the silver marks. But the quality of the silver work attests to it being silver.

The scent measures 3 ¼” high(8cm) and 1 ½” wide (3.5cm) and ¾” deep (2cm).

But of course, that brilliant Bristol blue makes this Victorian scent, circa 1860, a collector’s piece.
