Obverse:

In the center of the disc is the coat of arms of the Soviet Union and the abbreviation of the USSR, divided by the coat of arms into two parts: "SS" and "SR". The denomination of the coin is horizontally minted under the coat of arms.

"ONE RUBLE", the words are located one below the other. Along the edging is the inscription "ONE HUNDRED YEARS FROM THE BIRTH OF V. I. LENIN", the inscription ends with a five-pointed star.

Reverse:

On the reverse, a large image of the portrait of V.I. Lenin. Under the portrait are the years of Lenin's life "1870-1970". Along the circumference of the edging is a decorative "chain" consisting of small dots.
