Spain and Portugal:
April, 1941: After months of fruitless negotiations and growing tension, German troops march across the borders of yet another neutral nation - Spain. Panzer divisions supported by stuka groups race into the interior followed by the slower infantry formations, as Germany tries to add another victim to the blitzkrieg. The Spanish Army, however, is already partially mobilized and raises its main defenses in the mountainous interior instead of along the frontier. Meanwhile, British expeditionary forces land at Spanish ports along both the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts, to aid the Spanish Army, to threaten the German flanks, and to protect Gibraltar... the battle for Spain is begun.
The preceding is a description of the possible opening moves of a hypothetical German invasion of Spain in the spring of 1941. This operation is given as the Battle for Spain scenario, which is part of Spain and Portugal. The scenario uses rules and components from The Fall of France (Europa VIII) and is not playable by itself.
