This is a very cool pair of hand forged, mixed metal candlesticks. The "S" structure is wrought Iron, the base appears to be Pewter, and the top is Copper. These are a nice weight, but not so heavy it's cumbersome. The Copper part that holds a taper candle is hammered, and you can really see the texture of the crafting process. Both candlesticks are marked on the underside in what appears to be freehand. You can see the initials "S.M.", followed by a set of 4 numbers or letters that I can't make out on either piece. Beautiful craftsmanship.

Excellent vintage condition. One of the candlestick holders (Copper part) is more easily turnable (like a screw) but it is riveted in securely-- it appears to just be how it was made.

Height: 7"
