Butyl bladders weigh approximately 6 oz.

Butyl rubber bladders, are approximately 3.4 oz. heavier than latex, are more durable, and have a very low leak rate. 

They are a good choice when weight is not a factor.

 Latex Bladders are lighter and weigh approximately 2.6oz.
