This is a Milton Bradley puzzle which is named on the top of the lid for the box, "Farmyard Puzzle Box".  This is puzzle That was made between 1895 and 1915. On the back of the lid are three small black and white representations of the puzzles and the number 4146. The colorful lithographed illustrations on the puzzles are of farmyard scenes that include adorable children and animals.

The box contained three puzzles which are all present and complete.

The box top sides are gone. The sides of the bottom are present with a part of one side missing. On viewing other examples of Milton Bradley puzzles of this type, it seems that damage and/or loss of the side pieces of the box is common. Perhaps because the sides were thin at only 3/8 inches high so they were not strong enough to last for many decades of storing the puzzles inside.

The puzzles are very colorful and in near mint condition . I have wrapped each puzzle in plastic bag to hold complete  so picture can be seen. SEE PHOTOS.
