Had to do some research on this plush bear. This is what I found.. very interesting.

Colin Earl Meads was a New Zealand rugby union player. He played 55 test matches, most frequently in the lock forward position, for New Zealand's national team, the All Blacks, from 1957 until 1971. Meads is widely considered one of the greatest players in history.

None of the current All Blacks' nicknames are anywhere near as emblematic as "Pinetree" (Colin Meads) The bears tag reads..” PineTree Ted”. Pretty cool😎
