Offered to you is this Extremely Rare German WW2 complete medical surgical set of the well known and respected medical company CHIRON. Never used in mint condition. This is a portable set for the Lazarett field hospitals, suitable to be used in field conditions, at the battlefield. The set goes into a metal carrying container, marked Hauptbesteck 1939 on the lid, with folding handles on the sides. Inside on the lid has the original list of contents, printed in Gothic German letters. It’s dated 1939.
In the container there are 8 large metal trays and 3 smaller metal boxes, full of instruments - for a great variety of surgical cases. There are slots with the outline of the instruments on the bottom of the trays. For a detailed list of contents, look at all the photos below. This is a great set, a centerpiece for your collection. Extremely rare to find original, complete, large surgical set. A couple of years ago we were able to completely buy out probably the only untouched military warehouse of leftover captured German WWII equipment including some precious Lazarett field hospital equipment and sets.
