DATE PRINTED: 1719 or shortly afterwards. 

SIZE: The printed area including titles is approximately 21 x 16.5 cm, 8.25 x 6.5 inches (medium) plus margins. 

PROVENANCE:  An antique map from 'The Roads Through England Delineated Or, Ogilby's Survey, Revised, Improved, and Reduced to a Size Portable for the Pocket by John Senex F, R, S.', John Bowles, London.  First published in 1719 the book was updated and re-issued until c.1780. John Senex (1678-1740) was one of the foremost mapmakers in England in the early eighteenth century. He was also a surveyor, globemaker, and geographer.  

TYPE: Antique copper plate engraving printed on paper.

VERSO: There is a further map printed on the reverse side .

CONDITION: Good. Please check the scan for any blemishes prior to making your purchase. Virtually all antiquarian maps and prints are subject to some normal aging due to use and time which is not significant unless otherwise stated.
