In Star Wars Outer Rim, underworld denizens seek fame and fortune travelling the galaxy on a custom built ship, hiring legendary Star Wars characters as crew to bolster your reputation. Warring factions roam freely picking off competition and any who are deemed a thorn in their side! Rogues and bounty hunters are commonplace as they compete for riches and respect!
A game takes place over a series of turns that sees players taking dangerous jobs, tracking down bounties, upgrading their ship, and more, all in service of gaining more and more fame. Regardless of the path you take to get there, your goal is to gain ten fame, which can come from a variety of sources, such as completing your character's personal goal, collecting on bounties and jobs, delivering illegal cargo, taking down patrols from the various factions struggling over the galaxy, and enjoying the finer things in life by purchasing luxury items with your hard-earned credits.
While the path to victory may be different for scoundrels finding their way in the Outer Rim, everyone starts from the bottom with a simple ship. Your player board not only tracks your fame progress, but also contains slots for your ship, your character card, gear, reputation, modifications, jobs, and bounties.
Star Wars Outer Rim: Unfinished Business (2022)
You’ve made a name for yourself in the Outer Rim, but there is still Unfinished Business. Hyperlanes through the Core Worlds hold the promise of untapped opportunities. The market is flush with new merchandise, from valuable cargo to tools of the trade. Just watch your step; the latest crop of bounties is even deadlier, and your rivals are looking to take you down!
Unfinished Business is an expansion for Star Wars: Outer Rim and packed with more of everything the game has to offer: characters, ships, gear, bounties, jobs, encounters, dice, and more! Two new tiles allow players to cross the galaxy by passing through the Core Worlds, and the new “favours” and “ambitions” change up how the game is played. Fire up your engines—it’s time to get down to business.
Please note the Star Wars Outer Rim base game is required to use the expansion.
The Star Wars Outer Rim Games Bundle includes both the base game and Unfinished Business expansion. No other accessories included.
The Folded Space insert is a flat pack foam core kit that fits inside your Outer Rim game box. It comes with a set of instructions and also provides space for the expansion components. PVA glue required but not included.
The Gawain sleeves are perfect for protecting Star Wars Outer Rim cards. Each pack of Paladin Card Protectors contains 55 clear sleeves. With a thickness of 90 microns, these protectors are extremely durable by industry standards and can withstand the harshest of gaming conditions.
