Vintage Simplicity Sewing Pattern 6390 c1984 Size 10,12 & 14, Uncut and Cut Size 14 - Oleg Cassini Design - Misses' Swimsuit, Pullover Top and Pareu - Swimsuit, Bikini and Top Sized for Stretch Knits Only: V. 1 bikini and top are cut in three contrasting fabrics. Bikini is elasticized at upper, lower and leg edges. Bra has narrow halter tie. Top has boat neck, short kimono sleeves and ends at waist. Swimsuit V. 2 with elasticized edges has deeply cut out back and shoulder straps that cross in back and fasten with purchased hooks. Pareu has ties that are knotted at right side. 

Oleg Cassini (1913 – 2006) was a fashion designer born to an aristocratic Russian family with maternal Italian ancestry. He came to the United States as a young man after starting as a designer in Rome, and quickly got work with Paramount Pictures. Cassini established his reputation by designing for films. He became particularly well known as a designer for Jacqueline Kennedy while she was First Lady of the United States. The "Jackie Look" was to become highly influential and much admired. Among Cassini's inspirations were sports and Native American culture.
