TWO PIECE IN CONSTRUCTION. THE BODICE HAS A SQUARE CUT NECKLINE TRIMMED IN SILK VELVET RUFFLE PLEATS FULLY AROUND WITH RUCHED GATHERING TO THE SILK AT THE FRONT AND REAR NECKLINE.
HUGE BILLOWING PUFF SILK VELVET SLEEVES ARE RUCHED GATHERED AT PUFFS AT THE BOTTOM WITH RUFFLES AT THE EDGE. WIDE PLEATED BELTING ENCIRCLES THE WAIST.
THE SKIRT IS TRIMMED IN RUFFLES OF VELVET ABOVE THE RUCHED BOTTOM EDGE HEM WITH A LARGE SILK VELVET BOW TRIMMING THE FRONT. THE REAR FLOWS IN A BEAUTIFUL LONG TRAIN.
THE SKIRT IS LINED IN POLISHED COTTON WITH SILK TAFFETA PUNCHED RUFFLES ALL ALONG THE BOTTOM INTERIOR HEM. THE BODICE IS LINED WITH COTTON WITH FRENCH SEAMS AND IS FULLY BONED, CUT PETERSHAM AT THE REAR WAISTLINE.
CONDITION: SLIGHT AGE COLOR SEEN TO THE SILK WITH A FINGERTIP WATER STAIN ON THE BODICE JUST ASIDE THE FRONT LEFT UNDERARM. THERE IS A BROWN WATER STAIN TO THE RIGHT OF THE BOW ON THE BOTTOM FRONT HEM WITH SMALL SOOT SOILING SEEN ON THE VELVET BOW AND RUFFLING. FINGERTIP WATER STAINS ARE ABOVE THE BOW ON THE CENTER FRONT WITH TWO OFF TO THE LEFT SIDE.
