Things to watch out for - 1. Grey or white backing. This is a telltale sign of the top being made in china. The material they are using are not even UV coated which means it will fade within 6 months and you want even be able to return it at that point.
- 2. Watch for pictures of wrinkled or plastic wrapped plastic windows. That's how you know its a Chinese knock off. We use D.O.T approved press polished automotive specific plastic windows. The Chinese ones are fuzzy and sticky and definitely not DOT approved.
- 3. The wording and the description dont match. Some listings show original vinyls such as sailcloth and pinpoint grains and they are selling some random Chinese Vinyl.
- 4. We here at MoreThanTops sell convertible tops, headliners, seat
- covers, door panel skins and carpet kits. Not a million random Chinese window motors and accessories. Look at the sellers page, if they are selling a million unrelated items then you know you are buying a Chinese knock off top.
