This unique item has me a little puzzled.  I could not find another like it on the internet or Ebay.  It is marked "Latama Italy".  It is shaped like a medieval axe and measures 14" long and 3 1/2" across at the axe part.  I thought it was a letter opener and upon inspection it may also be a bottle opener.  The handle has an insert that you unscrew and it looks like some sort of pick.  The pick is 7" long.  The axe is stainless steel and the handle is chrome plated.
