FASHIONED OF A STEEL GREY SILK TAFFETA AND IS TWO PIECE IN CONSTRUCTION.
SEAMS ARE PIPED ALONG THE FOLDS OF THE COLLAR EDGE WITH BOX PLEAT RUFFLES LINING THE INNER EDGE WITH A BLUE BLACK SILK VELVET FRONT CLOSING IN BLACK JET FLORAL STYLE BUTTONS.
SEAMS ARE PIPED AT THE SHOULDER WITH FLAT PIPED RUFFLES AND BOWS TRIMMING THE BOTTOM SLEEVE WITH BOTTOM CUFFS IN BOX PLEATING. TRIPLE PIPING ALL ALONG THE BOTTOM EDGE WITH THE REAR IN A FULL CAP BUSTLE.
INTERIOR IS LINED IN BROWN POLISHED COTTON WITH MATCHING POLISHED COTTON LINING THE SKIRT. THE SKIRT IS IN MASSIVE BILLOWING THROUGH THE REAR WITH ROWS OF PIPING FALLING DOWN THE CENTER WITH AN APRON STYLE DRAPING TO THE FRONT THAT IS EDGED IN ALL OF THE RUFFLE DETAIL WITH RICH RUCHED RUFFLING AND BOX PLEATING ALL AROUND THE BOTTOM EDGE HEM. A SINGLE BUTTON CLOSES THE REAR SKIRTING.
CONDITION: THE SILK VELVET WAS SHORTENED SLIGHTLY AT THE TOP CENTER NECKLINE, FOLDED OVER WITH BUTTONS REMOVED. SMALL UNDERARM DISCOLORATION IS HARD TO NOTE, NOTE THE IMAGES.
ONE PINHEAD HOLE ON THE HIGH LEFT CHEST. ONE PINHEAD OF A HOLE ON THE REAR PIPING. THERE IS ONE FINGERTIP NIPPED HOLE JUST BENEATH THE APRON ON THE LEFT SIDE.
