Frank Griffith 1889-1979. Studied at La Palette in Paris 1907, later L'Academie Ranson under Maurice Denis.  In 1912 Griffith returned to London as a pupil of Walter Sickert at Rowlandson House.  Here he worked with members of the Camden Group.  Griffith exhibited with the London Group during the 1920's.  Exhibited at the Beaux Arts Gallery in 1933 and 1936.  In 1996 the Southampton City Art Gallery held a retrospective exhibition of Griffith's work.
