The Kenya 500 Shillings Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Kenya in 2019. Its obverse features the Kenyatta statue and the Kenyatta International Convention Centre buildings with buildings and mountains in the background. It also depicts the coat of arms of Kenya and a lion’s head. The reverse of the note depicts elephants and giraffes, a lion’s head, and a dove with an olive branch. The banknote contains a windowed security thread and a watermark that reveals a lion’s head and an electrotype 500. It is 138 × 68 mm in size. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
