The Katana-50 MkII offers five unique amp characters, including Clean, Crunch, Lead, Brown, and Acoustic, with newly voiced variations for each. You can also take advantage of five independent effects sections - Booster, Mod, FX, Delay, and Reverb - with three selectable variations in each, as well as dedicated Pedal FX for foot-controlled wah and pedal bend.

Customizing your sound is easy with the updated BOSS Tone Studio software, which offers over 60 different BOSS effects, channel and global EQs, adjustable routing, and much more. You can even use the Power Amp In for preamps, modelers, and multi-effects, and store and recall all your amp and effect settings with four Tone Setting memories.

The Katana-50 MkII also features Power Control, which allows you to achieve cranked-amp tone and response at low volumes, and three Cab Resonance options - Vintage, Modern, and Deep - selectable in BOSS Tone Studio. You can also take advantage of mic'd cabinet emulation on the USB and phones/recording outputs, with five Air Feel settings available in BOSS Tone Studio.

In addition, the Katana-50 MkII offers rear-panel connections for up to two footswitches or an expression pedal, and you can download and share Livesets at BOSS Tone Exchange. For pro setups, BOSS Tone Central offers a variety of custom setups to take your sound to the next level.
