Quincy Jones paid tribute to him, the Red Hot Chili Peppers named him the frontrunner for their own world tour, and this is the second album released in 2018 by the superb drummer and one of LA's best and most talented drummers, Louis Cole.

This album combines high songwriting ability reminiscent of the Beach Boys and Michael Jackson with a sweet falsetto voice and intense funkiness.
The album opens with "Weird Part of The Night," an electro-funk song with a surreal music video and rhythmic tango.

The preceding single "When You're Ugly," featuring Genevieve Alterdi, his partner from his own unit Nowhere, is a cross between late 70s EW&F and West Coast G-funk.
The Beach Boys influence is digested in a deeper way on songs like "Everytime," "Phone," and "Things," which fans of yesteryear will love, and even the classic ballad "After The Load is Blown," which sounds like it was possessed by Prince.

Guests included his friend Thundercat, Brad Meldor, who is arguably one of the top jazz piano players in the world today, and Dennis Ham, who brought Lewis to Brainfeeder.
