This is a truly rare find: 1903 issued commemorative cup to celebrate 200 years anniversary of founding St. Petersburg. The cup is in a great condition with no cracks or chips, no loss of golden accents.

The cup is light blue and it’s front features a portrait of tsar Peter the Great. It also carry the date of founding: May 16th, 1703 and the date of celebration it’s 200 anniversary: May 16, 1903 (Julian calendar). Tsar named the city after his patron, the apostle Saint Peter.

The cup was issued in 1903, it measures approx. 3.5 inch tall x 3.25 inch (top), 2.25 inch (base). The top and the base has a gold rim. The bottom is marked with the stamp of the manufacturer: M.S. Kuznieschova.
