Vintage locomotive print by Evelyn Curo "The Minnetonka" Northern Pacific 1870 Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Framed Print. Frame is approximately 12in x 10.5in x 2in. Wall hanger. Believed to be from the 1950s.

Evelyn Curro was an American artist. Born in 1907,  she became well known for her artwork depicting cable cars, trains, and Victorian houses. Curro made a whole series of really fun, fanciful railroad prints, illustrating early locomotives with a bit of artistic license thrown in. Her father was a railroad contractor, so when she moved to San Francisco and started doing illustration (e.g. of old Victorians), drawing trains was a natural. Ms. Curro passed in 2005.
