** When the computer may not be connecting to the camera properly, we would try a different USB port on the PC or another PC if possible and if this doesn't help. You can try another USB cable if you have another one that is the same type. Usually doing one of these will get this to connect properly.
** Check and see if the camera turns on and records properly and does the lights come on to reflect how it is working? If the unit is not working you can try to press the "RESET" button in the back middle of the camera for a couple of seconds and try again.
** If you change the file system format, it makes the camera no longer work. This also is the cause of the camera no longer connecting to the pc. The solution we found after testing was to remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into the PC. This would then connect and let you reformat the memory and change the file system back to FAT32. The big issue with this is the cross has a built in memory card which is not easily accessible. Therefore, please do not try to change the file system format since there is no easy fix without removing the memory card to reformat.
** The Middle button located on the back side is the RESET and this is supposed to be recessed and you need to press this with a paperclip. The on/off button is located on the back side TOP of the camera.
** You will be able to set the date and time to show on the video files you record.
**This item is not waterproof. It would cause damage to the item if it was in contact with water.
** Make sure nothing is in the front of the camera lens (Foreign object like a hair or dust)
