Vintage 60s 70s Multi Color Colorful Handmade Rolled Recycled Paper Magazine Handbag Purse with braided handles

This colorful hand-crafted rolled-paper purse is made of recycled vintage paper, late 60s early 70s. Looks to be comic book covers or magazine or maybe color ads. Features 2 different types of construction: body is fashioned from very long horizontal paper tubes that are woven and the straps a more traditional braid. Components are hand stitched with heavy-duty, yet thin, twine/string. This bag is structured & not flexible. Appears to have a layer of clear lacquer over all, but is not glossy and plastic-y feeling.

The double straps are of a length that lets you carry this as a handbag over your arm. So sweet.
