How to use-The Compass must be held horizontally so that the needle can rotate freely. N E W S stands for geographical direction like North East West South. The red end on the pointer always points towards North Pole. For alignment rotate the compass such that the Needle with the Red end, or having N marking is just above the N (Crown) mark on the dial. Once it is done, all directions will be accurate.
