NO Box but with Certificate of Authenticity and product information flyer, mint condition.

This plate is #117 ‘The Jubilee Edition ‘, a unique single limited edition from Rosenthal Germany in 1995.

‘This English language version issued in a single limited edition of a maximum of 1,000 plates .

Created from original artwork by the renowned artist Hilmar Zill, and produced in fine porcelain by Rosenthal to the exacting standards of the Bradford Exchange. This plate is officially listed for trading in the Bradford Exchange. Not for food use . Good consumed from this vessel may be harmful . For decorative purposes only .’

Very beautifully made plate with Madonna crafted in classic half relief on the left side of plate, central image with dazzling frost effect is a tribute to the first ever limited edition plate created by Bing & Grondahl to celebrate Xmas in 1985.

The words’ To truth, beauty and goodness’ are permanently fired into the surface in gold , 1895-1885, edging decorative scroll around the plate as well as Virgin Mary’s halo are also in gold.

Measures 3x25x17cm.

Two holes on the back for hanging.

Certificate of authenticity - whole with a parts of edges missing surface paper, few bits missing on the BRADEX box.

Information flyer- minor handling marks.
