This is a pair of vintage Cold War-era Austrian Bundesheer M59 heavy alpine ski boots from the 1970s. They are in a great used condition and have superb crafting for use in harsh terrain, with only minor scuffs on the leather and a small repair on the left boot’s tongue (see last picture). The outsoles have very minimal wear and the ski binding clamps are intact. They are sized as an EU 40, which is comparable to a US Men’s 7.5 D (Regular) or a US Women's 9 C (Wide). For more specific measurements, see below.

Note: The leather has been treated with Huberd’s Shoe Grease, and thus will not take a polish. These boots do not have insoles and are designed to be worn with multiple pairs of socks, so please keep that in mind before buying. Although listed as a US Men's 7.5 D (Regular), due to their length, these boots can fit a size US Men's 8 C (Narrow) or a US Women's 9.5 B (Regular) as well.
