Description

 lot of 2 vertebra bones from a prehistoric thus extinct giant sea-snake, Palaeophis maghrebianus. This specimen from the early Eocene phosphate beds of Morocco (47 to 54 millions years ago) was first described by Camille Arambourg  in 1952. They were found within the phosphate pits in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.

The size of each specimen is ranging 1/4" to 3/4".

 

 

These are VERY NICE PIECE to add to your fossil collection.
