1) IRMA LA DOUCE (1958) (Philips - BBL-7274) - Original Issue Original London Cast of musical production. Original Music by Marguerite Monnot. Orchestrations by Andre Popp. Original Book and Lyrics by Alexandre Breffort. English book and lyrics by Julian More, David Heneker and Monty Norman. Orchestra under the direction of Alexander Faris. Directed by Peter Brook. Cast: Elizabeth Seal, Keith Michell, Clive Revill. HISTORY: Original French Musical premier was 1956. After this 1958 London production (1,512 performances) the show was produced for Broadway in 1960 (524 performances). In 1963 it became a Hollywood non-musical movie starring Jack Lemmon & Shirley MacLaine. CONDITION: Vinyl & Cover = Very Good.

2) WHERE'S CHARLEY? (1958) (Monmouth Evergreen - MES-7029) - Original Issue Original London Cast of musical production. Music & Lyrics by Frank Loesser. A musical play based on "Charley's Aunt" by Brandon Thomas. Orchestra conducted by Michael Collins. Directed by William Chappell. Cast: Norman Wisdom, Pip Hinton, Marion Grimaldi, Pamela Gale, Terence Cooper, Felix Felton, and Jerry Desmonde. HISTORY: Musical premiered on Broadway in 1948 (792 performances) starring Ray Bolger, who won the Tony as Best Actor in a Musical. In 1953 the Broadway musical was made into a Hollywood movie with Ray Bolger reprising his Broadway role. In 1958 this London musical production was staged (404 performances). Cast: Harry Secombe, Jessie Evans, Anton Rodgers, Teddy Green, Gerald James, Oscar Quitak, Julian Orchard, Hilda Braid. HISTORY: This musical premiered in London in 1963 (694 performances) Moved to Broadway/Los Angeles in 1965 (561 performances). It was aired on BBC TV as a Movie in 1969. CONDITION: Vinyl = Excellent. Opened on October 31, 1978 at her Majesty's Theatre in London (78 performances). HISTORY: Opened on off-broadway on June 10, 1987 at the American Jewish Theatre. CONDITION: Vinyl = Near Mint. Cast: Diane Langton, Josephine Blake, Gareth Snook, Michael Gyngell, Richard Bodkin, Peter Edbrook, james Gavin, Steve Hervieu. HISTORY: Premiered on Broadway on Feb 1984 (204 performances). This London production opened on Feb. 17 to March 18th - 38 performances. CONDITION:Vinyl = Near Mint. Cover = Excellent.
