For sale is an enamel box, manufactured by Crummles & Co. The lid is decorated with a view of the Beatrix Potter character, Peter Rabbit squeezing under a gate(see pic.2). The sides & base are an undecorated blue colour(see pic.3). To the underside of the lid is a related line from the story(see pic.5). The box measures a little under 1 3/4"(4.25cms) in diameter & 1 1/8"(a little over 2.75cms) tall. It is fully backstamped(see pic.6) and in good condition. The enamel is free from any damage or wear. There are a few little spots of tarnishing to the metal mounts(see pics.7 & 8).
