Thank you for checking out this item.

Paul says:

I am offering a very unusual and rather beautiful hand coloured engraving, showing a head study of a Yorkshire Terrier by Italian artist "Reggio".  I have not been able to find out much information about the artist who signs her work simply "Reggio", other than the fact that she lived and worked in Florence and was a painter, engraver and charcoal artist of animals, but dogs and horses were her passion.  She apparently died aged in her mid 70's in the 1970's.  I was fortunate enough recently to obtain a small collection of head studies of various dog breed by this artist and am delighted to be able to offer them to breed collectors for the first time.  They are all printed on heavy grade hand made cartridge type paper to a very high standard and I think they are just wonderful.  I am so convinced of their quality that I offer a full refund if they disappoint in any way.
