Cover postmarked Montreal (May 27), to London, England, FECB h/s at left, carried by thee S.S. "Eros" which was torpedoed by a German U-Boat off the coast of Ireland on 7 June, handstamped SALVED FROM THE SEA on front and back, British post office seal on reverse, stamp floated off and usual faults as expected for mail that has survived such circumstances, scarce Second World War disaster mail.
