This is an interview with Lou Reed, recorded at RCA to help promote his Blue Mask album in 1982. Lou is entirely without attitude on this one, seriously talking about his recording and writing process and how it changed over time. Many cuts from The Blue Mask included; in fact this would be a cool alternative way to listen to that album, with actual Lou commentary. The musical content is mastered beautifully here, come to think of it.

The vinyl looks and sounds basically perfect (NM)...the sleeve is a bit wrinkled and has the remnant of a Saint Marks Sounds sticker (which was up some stairs at 20 Saint Marks Place in the East Village, RIP), so VG+ on the sleeve.

This includes a cue sheet that disc jockeys would have used to help them program ads and station IDs into the interview.
