This Avalon Brass small pet urn from Terrybear is a beautiful brass urn (made in India) that once housed one of my beloved pet cats, Jackie. For years her ashes (sealed in plastic) stood on a shelf in my home, and when I finally decided to scatter her remains (mingled with my 2 other, former cats) on the property that she had once wandered, I was left with a really pretty vessel that I thought another pet lover might want, given that their pet has the same name. Morbid? I hope not. It's more of a practical thing, since a comparable new urn costs $69.95 or so before the engraving. Shop around and see. Why should this stunning vessel go to waste when it might be of use housing your beloved friend and companion?
It measures just under 6" tall and 4½" in diameter and is extremely sturdy. The top screws on for a tight seal. The color is Evening Blue with a decorative brass band encircling it. 40 cubic inches, according to the manufacturer (see photo #7).
The name "Jackie" is engraved on one side, though it's difficult to see in the photos.
