Acceptable. Good reading condition, with signs of ageing and wear on the covers.

Good reading condition. Pages are tanned but clean. Text and illustrations are clear and unannotated. No handwriting. Binding is generally tight (but see below). No foxing. A few small, faint smudges on the text block edges but content is unaffected.
Buyers please note:
- Ex libris. Handwritten ownership details/gift message on the front pastedown/endpaper/flyleaf/half-title/title.
- Front hinge has partially split, with webbing exposed, but pages remain firmly attached.
- Small stains on endpapers and in the margins of pp.22-3.
Covers:
Acceptable. Stable. Titles are clearly legible. Edges are lightly rubbed and soiled. Corners and spine ends are bumped and rubbed.
