ABOUT THE SEAL
The seal highlights the night view of a city, showing the importance of electric energy for the lighting of streets and homes, in which this source is necessary for the operation of appliances, water heating and other uses, providing safety and wellbeing to communities, represented by the house and lampposts that border the street, in the foreground. On the left is a hydroelectric plant, which produces the energy consumed in the cities, and is also available in towns far from urban centers. On the right is the UPAEP logo, which includes the stamp of the themes recommended by the Postal Union of the Americas, Spain and Portugal to the member countries.
