The Zambia 500 Kwacha Banknote was issued by the Bank of Zambia in 2003. This brown banknote is printed on polymer. ts obverse side features the national coat of arms, a dove, a baobab tree, and a fish eagle perched on a branch. Its reverse side depicts elephants and workers picking cotton and the Freedom Statue in Lusaka. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a fish eagle watermark. It is 140 mm x 70 mm and is signed by Caleb Mailoni Fundanga. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
