This book is an inquiry into the international legal development aimed at providing remedies to the impact caused by noninternational armed conflict on minors in Africa whether as victims or as perpetrators. The issue has been addressed from four main interdisciplinary perspectives. Namely; international human rights law, international humanitarian law, international criminal law and international customary law. The book starts by announcing the impact of armed conflict in general in the life of minors. By examining the impact, the book argues that conflicts affect minors in two main waysdirect and indirect. The impact raised in this section pushes the research to delve into the available law on the subject that can be used to remedy the situation of minors during and after noninternational conflict. The book argues that, if not for the veto power within the Security Council, customary international law would have substantial impact in the protection of minors under NIAC. The last chapter of the book aimed at setting out a conclusion on the central theme of the book and at the same time, attempting to give some useful recommendations to both politician as well as practitioners
