Classic short slightly A-line skirt from LILLY PULITZER.  Invisible back zip.  No-waistband style.  Patch pockets on the rear.  4" slit on each side for ease in walking.  Fully lined.

The adorable print is of flamingoes with their wings designed as the "Lilly" script.  The overall colors includes light, medium, and dark pink.  IMHO, the best color representation is the photo with the Lilly label.  Please make allowances for differences in the color display on different computer monitors.  I try to describe the item and color to the best of my ability, but such are my photography skills.

Please note: I THINK the garment is from the 1960's.  I've had it for decades, but lost track of when it entered my wardrobe.  I've collected Lilly through the years.

Brand: Lilly Pulitzer.

Size on the label:  8, but please see measurements below for best fit guide.  Vintage sizes do not comport with modern measurements.

Material:  shell: 100% cotton; lining: 65% polyester, 35% cotton.  The labels says to machine wash cold, tumble dry low.

Quality: excellent vintage condition.  No stains, tears, weird smells, etc.  It has been carefully stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home.  I recently retired, and doing a good Kondo cleanout, reflecting my lifestyle going into the future.  ....and frankly, after age 70, even if the legs are still pretty good, a little dignity goes a long way.

MEASUREMENTS: these are the measurements of the actual garment, measured with the garment laying flat, i.e. double for waist, hips, and sweep.  It is best to compare to a garment that fits you well of a similar fabric and style.

   Waist: 13 1/2"

Hips, measured straight across, about 8" down from the natural waist: 19 1/2"

Overall length: waist to hem:  18"

   Sweep at the hem:  21"

TERMS: please ask any questions in advance of purchase as I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS.  I try very hard to give an accurate description of the item the first time.

PAYMENT:  Paypal only, please.  U.S. buyers only, please, unless you can use eBay's international buying/shipping program (I ship to eBay, and they handle the overseas paperwork and hassle.  Not all countries are eligible.).  I ship USPS with delivery confirmation within 48 hours of receipt of payment, often sooner.

Please note: I now have a separate charge to the buyer for shipping.  This is due to a proposal by the IRS that vastly lowers the threshold to pay income taxes on sales from third party platforms like ebay, Craig's list, Etsy, etc.  When you are cleaning out a house or even the back of a closet, the new level is ridiculously low.  So as not to confuse what I actually earn from what I will need to immediately pay out for shipping on USPS, I now clearly indicate that the buyer will contribute to the shipping cost (which is often less than I actually have to pay for postage and shipping supplies.)

After great outcry, the IRS adjusted that reg for 2024, but we'll see what happens in 2025 and beyond.

Thanks for looking!
