NOTE: I try to keep the cost with free shipping on small seed orders as low as possible by using first class letter mail without tracking.  It works well, but sometimes is a little slow and very occasionally they don't show up at all.  In order to be able to keep using this low cost service on Ebay, PLEASE do not open a case if you do not receive the seed order.  There is no way for me to provide tracking for an open case, and they punish me for USPS mail failures.  JUST MESSAGE ME DIRECTLY and let me know you haven't received them, and I'll resend them out for you.  Look for the seeds (unless you pay for first class package with tracking) in your regular letter mail in a white envelope with a butterfly or flower sticker on it.
Giant African Marigold~ Orange and Yellow Mix
50 FRESH 2022 Seeds

These are third generation, fully organic, from our garden here.  The first year we planted them, they had about 3" blooms.  This year, many of the blooms were up to 5" in diameter!  And the plants got so large, up to 4' tall some of them, that the branches would come off at the base, they were so loaded with blooms.   So pruning may be necessary.  The upside to the branches coming off is that you can put them in water for about a week or 2, and they will get roots on them, and you can plant them and have a whole full sized plant, already blooming from it.  I created about 10 or 12 new plants this way this year.

The seeds are all recently harvested, fresh and with a close to 90% germination rate.

They have had NO pesticides or commercial fertilizers of any kind used on them.  I use only compost, manure, bone and blood meal, and other natural fertilizers.  I am absolutely against using ANY chemicals in my gardens!!

Marigolds are wonderful natural pest deterrents, for many different types of bugs that you DON'T want.  They are also quite beautiful and these are spectacular.  And are very easy to grow.  They are also fully edible, quite nutritious, and have many different medicinal uses.

They are a summer annual that are to be sewn after the last frost date, if sewn outside. They require a warm, moist but well draining soil to germinate.  You can germinate indoors a few weeks before last frost, and transplant outdoors once temperatures maintain at least the 40s at night.  They <3 hot humid days and full sun. So plant them in your sunniest spot, with/among other sun loving plants like tomatoes, peppers, etc... or in your flower garden in the back.

Snip out the center of these when they get about a foot tall, and they will bush out more and not get quite as tall.  And the more you cut them back, the more they will produce flowers.  They will flower all the way through summer and into fall, all the way until the first frost.

I do not include tracking on shipping, unless you are combining these with another item/items, to keep the cost low.  Seeds will be in a small plastic ziplock baggie.

NOTES ABOUT OUR ITEMS and PROCESSES.    Please Read Before Making a Purchase

All of our preowned and vintage clothing items are hand picked and thoroughly inspected prior to listing.  Most pieces will be either new without tags, or in practically new condition with very little visible wear (if any) and no damage or stains.  We make any repairs, if necessary, and launder items to remove any visible soiled areas or stains if we come across any.  We do NOT however do dry cleaning, unless otherwise noted, so any dry clean only items may need to be cleaned prior to wearing.   All items described as "excellent preowned" with no detailed description of condition, are without any notable flaws or visible wear.  Any visible wear, anomalies, or condition issues that are found during inspection will be described in detail, with photos that show the issues.

WE have a SMOKE FREE environment here.   However, We acquire items from a wide variety of sources, including estate sales, yard sales, storage unit sales, etc....and do not know what some items may have been exposed to prior to coming here.  All items are cleaned prior to shipping unless otherwise noted in listing (for instance items needing to be dry cleaned, other professional cleaning, or items with patina or tarnish that would be left to buyer discretion).  Some very old or vintage items, or items that may have been in a house that had someone who was a smoker,  may have embedded odors from these previous environments that may take a little time to dissipate.   If you receive an item that has a lingering odor that is displeasing, give it some time and some additional cleaning/deodorizing, and it will usually subside.  We do a lot of different things to items we acquire that have odors, in addition to laundering such as airing out outdoors, using deodorizers, etc... and will only list the items when WE do not detect the distinct odor any longer.

However, that said.... we are around these old things, and in old houses, and attics, and basements, and storage buildings...etc, all the time, and may not be as sensitive to these odors as someone who is not around them.  So I may not smell anything, but you do.  So if you do receive something and you are unable to remove the offending scent AFTER an additional cleaning, I will take the item back for refund.

*Photo colors of items may not be true to photos, and most always will look different in different lighting.  If the colors are coming across as significantly different, such as bluer or greener than the actual color, that will be noted in the listing.

*We have 30 day no hassle returns.  Just contact me, or click "return item" on your order.
Returns due to "changed mind" may be minus original shipping costs.
Return shipping, unless there is a problem with the item or the listing, will be the responsibility of the buyer
If you receive an item that has been damaged during transit, please do NOT throw away any of the packaging materials, or item pieces.  Take several pictures of the damage, with the packaging, and keep everything.  We will open an insurance claim for you immediately, but sometimes the shipper will request photos or even sometimes they will request to have the package and contents picked up by the shipper. So it's important not to dispose of anything until after your claim has been processed.

Thank you so much for your business and/or consideration!!
