An ancestral remedy to detoxify the body or to relieve painful muscles and feet, Epsom salt is now reappearing in Spas and institutes for its richness in bioavailable magnesium, which gives it its ability to relax muscles and relax.

Application Tip:

 

For skin care :

- Body baths : Add 3 to 4 handfuls of Epsom to the bath water.
After the bath, rinse with clean water and prolong its effects by moisturizing your skin with a rich body cream.
Tip: for even softer skin, pour 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil into the bath water.

- In peeling : once a week after the shower, massage in circular motions the still damp skin with Epsom salt until you no longer feel the grains under your fingers. Rinse with clear water and dry. Apply a milk or body oil.

 

To relax muscles and relieve joint pain :

- Body baths: add 3 to 4 handfuls of Epsom to the bath water. Relax 20 minutes in the bath.
After the bath, rinse with clear water and prolong its benefits by applying a gel or a massage oil with the appropriate active ingredients (essential oils of lemon eucalyptus, wintergreen, lavender, rosemary).

 

 

- Foot baths: after a day spent standing, walking or trampling, remember to relax your feet. To do this, add 2 handfuls of Epsom salt to a basin of warm water and let them sit in the water for about ten minutes.
After the bath, prolong the effects of your bath by applying a fresh gel with relaxing essential oils (essential oils of peppermint, lavender).

 

For well-being and relaxation :

- Body baths: add 1-2 handfuls of Epsom to warm bath water. Take time to relax. Take the opportunity to close your eyes (the ideal being to benefit from the subdued light of a few candles).
If you can, get a massage with a massage oil with calming and relaxing essential oils (essential oils of lavender, orange, petitgrain)

 

 Domestic use :

Provides a source of magnesium to green plants, which promotes their growth and production.

Spread a handful of Epsom salt at the base of your plants. When you water them, or when the rain falls, it will enrich the soil by driving the salt into the earth.

Make a foliar fertilizer by mixing 1 heaped tablespoon of Epsom salt in a quart of water. Spray on the leaves.
