Dungeons & Dragons is a structured yet open-ended role-playing game. It is played with the participants seated around a tabletop. Typically, each player controls just one character, representing an individual in a fictional setting. One player, the Dungeon Master or DM, sets the scene and controls all the other characters the players meet and the monsters they encounter. This statue from ThinkGeek features a gelatinous cube, also known as an athcoid; a transparent ooze composed of mindless, gelatinous matter in the shape of a cube or rhombohedron. They were especially favoured by the drow god Ghaunadaur.
